COVlD measures for 2022/23

The public health situation is much improved, as the majority ofthe population have been multilple-vaccinated, and almost al ot the population now have someantlbodies as a result of either vaccination or exposure. The government has removed some ofthe protective measures that were in place, and there is no longer aneed for compulsory mask wearing, additional spacing of seats, and reporting of cases to the COviD response team.

Nevertheles, there is stll OvlD present in the community and it is prudent to retain some precautions. The most important protective measure is that anyone whohas a positive diagnosis, or has symptoms, should stav off campus and follow the HsE guidance on self-isolation.

This vear we exoet that teaching wilbe held on camous, and that examinations wil be held on campus. in the event of a further outbreakthat resuits in a change inthe government guidance, we will adapt to comply those measures.
