How to Apply | CAO

The CAO reopened on March 5th 2024 for late applications - closing May 1st. Apply via the CAO website.

This page contains information about the CAO and the steps you will follow as you make your way to becoming anundergraduate student at BMC in 2024.

The Central Applications Office (CAO) processes applications to undergraduate level 8 (and level 6/7) courses in lrishHigher Education Institutions (HEls) - including BMC. BMC offers level 8 degree courses through the CAO. Decisions regarding admission to undergraduate courses are made by the HEls who instruct CAO to make offers tosuccessful candidates.

There are different CAO applicant groups - such as Leaving Cert students, mature applicants, QQ applicants - andseparate assessment processes apply depending on your applicant group. For information about the assessmentprocess that applies to your group visit our How to Apply page.
